What can I expect during a session?

You will begin your session with a short interview on health conditions and what results may be achieved during the session.  The interview could also include muscle tests and tests for range of motion.  We utilize draping, which simply means your body is covered during the session.  We utilize minimal oils or creams to nourish the skin and to have less pull on skin while working areas of the body. Some clients fall asleep and others have abundant energy at completion of session.

What clothing do I need to wear?

There is no special clothing requirement. 

Is there oil used during the massage?

We utilize a small amount of oil or cream to nourish the skin and to enhance the kneading of the muscles.

What would a session cost?

Our pricing depends on treatment utilized during sessions.  Pricing starts at $40.

Does massage hurt?

Some therapies require manipulation of soft tissue, scar tissue, trigger points and deeper muscles which at times can be uncomfortable.  For feedback purposes we utilize a comfort scale from 0-10.  Each massage session requires constant communication between client and massage therapist.
